The diversity and independent nature of the charity sector means there is not a one size fits all manual on how to run a charity. What is required for running a charitable trust who gives grants will be different to an incorporated charity who delivers services.
Charity trustees are volunteers who give their passion, time and energy to run the many and various charities across Scotland, but as such they can’t be expected to have all the answers all of the time. We want trustees to seek support when they need it and their trustee duties expect/require that they do so. At the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) we know it is not always easy for charities to know where they can seek help.
Join staff from the Scottish Charity Regulator, the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) and the Third Sector Interface (TSI) Network to understand what help is available for you. There will be time for questions and answers following three short presentations.
