OSCR must consult with specific bodies or individuals in carrying out certain functions and before issuing guidance on how it determines whether a body meets the charity test.
As a public body we are not just accountable through the
exercise of formal and legal accountability mechanisms, we must
also develop a dialogue with our stakeholders.
We want to be clear about:
- the issues on which we will consult or engage stakeholders
- how stakeholders can input to decision making
- how we will feed back decisions to stakeholders.
Our Consultation and Participation
Strategy is OSCR's strategy for consulting and engaging with
stakeholders. It is an evolving document and is open for
