The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) was accredited with the Investors in People (IiP) Standardin April 2007.  The IIP standard is the recognised benchmark for quality employers and accreditation is key evidence of OSCR's commitment to be seen as an employer of choice.

The Investors in People Standard is based on the following three key principles:

  1. Plan - developing strategies to improve the performance of the organisation
  2. Do - taking action to improve the performance of the organisation
  3. Review - evaluating the impact on the performance of the organisation.

Over 30,000 UK organisations are recognised as Investors in People, of which over 4,000 are in Scotland. This covers around 27 per cent of the UK workforce.
